Founded in the pioneering days of e-commerce in 2007, Webelephant is a bold venture started by two media students from a humble attic room. “Back in the early days, when we were still exploring the internet through basic search engines and primitive web directories, we carved our niche, initially crafting websites, logos, and flash animations. Quickly recognising the potential of online stores, we evolved from a student project to a thriving professional organisation.

Who you are

  • You are an enthusiastic PHP developer with at least 3 years of experience under your belt
  • You have a good grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, and Linux, with familiarity in MySQL 
  • If you have experience with Magento, Docker, and Scrum practices, that is a bonus but not required. 
  • We’re looking for a team player who embraces pair programming, isn’t afraid to push boundaries, and enjoys discussing innovative solutions with clients and colleagues. 
  • You are passionate about building customer-oriented solutions and eager to grow within a dynamic team

As a Full-stack PHP/Magento Developer, you will:

  • Ensure webshops and associated applications are fully responsive across all devices and browsers.
  • Contribute to building industry-leading e-commerce solutions and strive to become the best in the country.
  • Enhance your skills through ongoing knowledge sharing, aiming to continually develop your capabilities.
  • Manage hosting and develop intricate API connections with various systems including warehouses and POS systems.
  • Optimise e-commerce sales through conversion optimisation strategies.
